Phil Stocks
Phil’s a bit of a wanderer but bought a house for the first time last year (his 16th different address in 32 years!) and got a dog called Rusty. Now committed to a mortgage and the responsibility of pet ownership, he’s going to stick around.
Stocksy has worked his way up the traditional radio presenter ladder starting at hospital radio, moving onto college radio in Winchester and cutting his teeth on various radio stations throughout the south and south west, only taking a break (from not just radio, but from the country) for two months in 2005 to travel to New Zealand. Turns out several thousand British Lions supporters had the same idea!
Away from Vale FM he likes walking (or being walked by the dog), badminton, biting his nails watching Liverpool FC and Northampton Saints and catching up with the World Rally Championship. However DIY takes up most of his time at the moment
